Aurora Cellars Pinot Grigio, Leelanau Peninsula

Pinot Grigio is a varietal that thrives in the growing conditions of the Leelanau Peninsula. The Aurora Pinot Grigio was an ideal growing season with long warm days and cooler nights. The climate conditions created ripe fruit with intense aromatics of pear and lemon. The fruit was pressed and fermented in stainless steel tanks where it was cold stabilized and kept at cooler temperatures until being bottled in order to preserve the bright fruit aromatics and crisp acid. This wine has a round midpalate with a long finish and bright acid. It is a versatile wine that can be paired with lighter summer fair or can balance a richer creamier cuisine
