Argyle Reserve Pinot Noir, Dundee Oregon

Argyle Reserve Pinot Noir, Dundee Oregon

Predominately based in the volcanic red soils of the Dundee Hills and Eola-Amity Hills, our Reserve Pinot Noir showcases spicy elegance and silky texture. This vintage introduces our first Reserve with a touch of marine sedimentary soils from the Giving Tree Vineyard, located in the foothills of the Coast Range, providing just a touch of muscle. Raspberry, dark plum, and cardamom and an underlying minerality weave with delicate, polished tannin and dynamic energy. Cold soaking and fermenting entirely in small, 1.5-ton fermenters enhances silkiness, while 20% whole cluster inclusion contributes freshness, layered complexity, and vibrant length.
